Basic pathology in Amavata is the formation
of “Ama” as
per Ayurveda. It is usually formed due to sluggish action of “Agni”.
Bhallataka & Nuxvomika are very important drugs stimulating “Agni” & thus
subsiding “Ama” and the diseases caused by it.
